5 Ways To Wear Pastels

Back to Trends

With the end of January nearing and the thought of fresh blooming flowers and lighter evenings approaching, it’s time to start looking ahead to the trends that will be influencing our wardrobes for SS19.

So, step aside dark dusky florals and deep juicy berries, as something much sweeter is storming the trends list. That’s right, the pastels are back.

Fresh and light in tone, they make the perfect accompaniment to the arrival of spring. With zesty lemons, dusty blues, minty greens and sugary pinks, there are a whole rainbow of shades to choose from.

How do I wear pastels?

The great thing about the pastels trend is that with their being so many colours to choose from, there is a shade to suit everyone!

Where dusky pinks and pale lilacs may feel like they’re washing you out, you can always opt for juicy lemons or crisp greens to bring your look alive. In contrast, if you’re feeling a bit overpowering in a zingy lemon ensemble, you can always accessorise with paler shades to tone your look down.

Whatever your look, there are plenty of ways for you to mix and match to create a look you love and feel comfortable in.

Want some outfit inspo? Chosen by our in-house stylist, we’ve put together a sorbet-infused edit of the pastel ensembles that will have you looking extra sweet and oh-so-chic this season. Check them out below!
