Woking Shopping asks: “Where Did Flo the Flamingo Go Go Go?”

Back to News and Events

Woking Shopping has their feathers well and truly ruffled by the disappearance of their friendly flamingo ‘Flo’.

Flo had been residing in the Woking Shopping Summer Zone, along with the rest of her flock, until her recent disappearance.

Members of the team at Woking Shopping have since received postcards from a bird claiming to be Flo but are appealing for the help of their social media fans to help track her down.

Between 14th and 25th August, Woking Shopping will post an image of one of the postcards they have received, on the centre’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels with the hashtag #FindFlo. They are asking fans to identify the location of their pink feathered friend.

Rowen de Grauw, Customer Experience Manager, Woking Shopping says, “The disappearance of Flo has been quite upsetting for the team here at Woking Shopping, not to mention her pink feathered friends. She and the rest of her flock were looking quite stunning in our Summer Zone, so it’s a real shame we’ve had to remove them for their own safety. All we ask is that if you know the whereabouts of Flo, you help her find her way home…’’
