We opened the first Bill’s Café in 2001 in a small town called Lewes. None of us could have imagined how successful it would become. Before we could blink, our relatively small café in a relatively small town near the south coast became a bit of a sensation. What had started as some ideas and a lot of hard work, had become a real, live and kicking, hustle and bustle place for people to meet for coffee, lunch or tea.
Part of Woking Shopping’s revamp, our restaurant, which is across two floors, is light and airy during the day, and cosy with candles and candelabras for the evening. There’s a soft seating area with leather sofas for shoppers who want to put their feet up and have a coffee, as well as cosy booths and sharing tables. Bill’s has a real bustle during the day and then, come the evening, we get the candelabras glowing and it’s a really different vibe.
